Polish Delegation Interested in the Tourism Investment Potential of Likupang in North Sulawesi
DIANSSULUT.COM, MINAHASA UTARA – A Polish delegation led by Beata Stoczynska is very interested in the investment potential in the Tourism Special Economic Zone (KEK) of Likupang in North Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi. The delegation’s visit is the first step in establishing cooperation in the tourism sector between Poland and Indonesia, as reported by the official account of the North Minahasa Regency Government on Sunday (17/9).
During the meeting with the North Minahasa Regent, Joune Ganda, the Polish delegation received information about the potential of the Likupang KEK as one of Indonesia’s super priority tourism destinations. Likupang KEK has various advantages, such as beautiful beaches, abundant natural resources, and strong local culture and wisdom.
This cooperation between Poland and Indonesia in the tourism sector is expected to contribute positively to the development of Likupang KEK as a sustainable tourism area. With investment from Poland, it is hoped that the tourism infrastructure in Likupang can be improved, including the construction of hotels, restaurants, and other tourism-supporting facilities.
In addition, this cooperation is also expected to have a positive impact on the economy of North Sulawesi and Indonesia as a whole. With the growing tourism industry in Likupang, it is hoped that new employment opportunities will be created for the local community and increase regional income.
The North Minahasa Regent fully supports this cooperation and is committed to providing various conveniences and facilities for foreign investors interested in investing in Likupang. In the meeting, further discussions were held regarding strategic steps that can be taken to ensure the sustainability of tourism investment in the Likupang KEK.
The visit of the Polish delegation is seen as a positive step in enhancing bilateral cooperation between Poland and Indonesia in the tourism sector.
